How will Valerie Plame Movie play in the Conservative Media today?

Geschrieben in Rush Limbaugh, Drudge Report, Conservative Opinion von Boris am 2 März 2007

Movie studio Warner Bros. announced that it has secured the life rights of Valerie Plame and her husband Joe Wilson. The Drudge Report has linked to the story which means that the conservative opinion makers in talk radio and the blogosphere will engage in a feeding frenzy over the story today.

Valerie Plame, of course, was the infamous CIA agent whose identity White House officials allegedly leaked to reporters in order to discredit her husband’s allegation that the Bush administration had manipulated intelligence about weapons of mass destruction to justify the war with Iraq. Plame filed a lawsuit against Dick Cheney, Bush advisor Karl Rove and Scooter Libby, the former chief of staff for Cheney. Libby is currently on trial for perjury, obstruction of justice and lying to investigators during the Valeria Plame scandal. Conservative talk radio host Rush Limbaugh has gone into hyper mode on several occasions over the unfolding events related to the Plame scandal. The severity of the attacks launched at Plame and Wilson by conservative pundits illustrates how nervous the Right is about allegations that the inner circle of the White manufactured the rational for the invasion of Iraq.

My prediction is that Rush Limbaugh will go to great length again today on his program “The Rush Limbaugh Show” to personally attack Plame and Wilson as spotlight-hungry, compulsive liars with a political agenda. The Drudge Report has set the table for a feast and Rush will not decline the invitation. Come back later to www.Rushbo.com to listen to audio clips of today’s “The Rush Limbaugh Show”.
